Restored National Award Winning Chevelle SS LS5 4 Speed

This AACA National Award Winner 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle has SS 454 flash with nice paint, a super clean interior and a fire breathing LS5 454 V8. Recently, this clean survivor was treated to a no-expense spared, no-holds barred rebuild into a 1971 SS 454, using the best components available. During that restoration, the body was repainted in the cars original GM code 75 Cranberry Red with added high gloss black racing stripes. Look under the hood of this car and you'll find a correct cowl induction air cleaner housing that feeds through a 4 barrel carburetor into a correct Winter aluminum intake. Attached to the big block 454 is correct exhaust manifolds, correct chrome valve covers and an HEI distributor with fresh AC Delco plug wires.The underside of this Chevelle is clean and solid for a car that has been on the road for 40 years. It features a Muncie M21 4-speed, correct power disc brakes up front with new hoses and correct drum brakes out back. In front of those brakes is new satin finished trim rings and bowtie center caps on freshly painted correct 15 inch Rallye wheels with F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. Inside the car, the buckets are firm to the touch. A spotless console houses a chrome Hurst shifter with a fresh boot and chrome shifter knob. The straight dash houses the typical Chevelle gauges which are all free of haze and work wonderfully. The carpet is in excellent shape and is protected by black heavy duty floor mats and the headliner is still stretched tight across the roof of the car. A factory correct steering wheel features chrome trim and an SS logo that matches the chrome trim and cool SS logos on the pristine door panels. This AACA award winning Chevelle is a great hobby car with a sanitary undercarriage, a like new interior and reliability and drivability at a price that won't kill you.
