1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Numbers Matching with Build Sheet
History
One of the most sought after collector cars that is a numbers matching 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 that we have here at Adventure Classics.
It is the correct repaint of the original #48 Forrest Green with the white SS stripes, #756 black interior, automatic transmission, and has a numbers matching performance 396 cubic inch big-block Chevy engine that makes it such a cool package with a build sheet.
Engine & Drivetrain
A high horsepower big-block Chevrolet 396 cubic inch engine with the #3969854 casting number, showing it is a 1970 402 (396) block and stamped on the front pad, a HK to show it is the born-with numbers matching 1970 SS 396-350 horse engine.
It sits in a very original looking engine compartment, gets its fresh air from the working factory cowl hood to its four-barrel carburetor, cast iron intake, 350 horse factory cam, with a roar thanks to the dual exhaust system and chrome tips.
The engine looks as great as it runs with the bright orange painted block, intake, and heads, chrome Chevrolet valve covers, and factory cowl-induction with lid open element air cleaner assembly, power steering and brakes, and air conditioning.
Interior
It has the black interior with bucket seats and door panels, black carpeting, all the right factory gauges including the tach in the dash, black factory floor console with the Chevy automatic shifter, sporty SS steering wheel, stereo radio system, air conditioning, and accessory gauges below the dash.
Exterior
Our Chevelle SS 396 is re-painted in the original #48 Forrest Green with white SS stripes and showcases all the curves of the iconic '70 Chevelle. You will love the look of the dual white SS stripes on the Cowl Induction hood with the iconic hood latch pins and cables.
It has all the correct SS 396 badging and the factory blacked-out grille to the center caps on the factory 5-spoke chrome mag wheels adorned with BF Goodrich Radial TA raised white letter tires.
Conclusion
The quality 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 we have here at Adventure Classics is the real-deal original numbers matching engine with build sheet and drive train that has been restored previously and is still in good shape now.
It is the muscle car of your dreams, its sharpe, fast, and comfortable, and can be enjoyed now or taken to the next level if you want in the future. The choice is yours.
Be quick if you want to take it home or it will be gone.
