Investment Grade Trans Am 400 Ram Air III 4 Speed
If you've ever dreamed of owning one of Pontiac's hottest creations, don't miss your chance to take home this 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air III. One of just 689 Firebird coupes built during the '69 model year, this example shows 44,860 original miles. Even before the extensive nut and bolt restoration this T/A was taking home awards like Bloomington Gold Survivor. The original sheet metal is covered in Cameo White paint with twin blue stripes. A Ram Air hood and T/A-exclusive D80 rear wing let everyone know this is no 6-cylinder 'bird. Under the ducted hood, the original Ram Air III 400cid V8 produces an advertised 335hp. Fully rebuilt, everything from the Quadrajet 4-barrel carb to the long branch exhaust manifolds retain their factory appearance. Under the car, amidst a fully detailed undercarriage, a trusty Muncie M20 4-speed channels power to the original 10 bolt Safe-T-Trak rear end packed with 3.55 gears. Bumps are absorbed by the original double A-arm/rear leaf configuration which has been rebuilt to factory specifications. Standard N41 power steering and JL2 power brakes add comfort to the driving experience. At the corners, 14 inch GM Rally II wheels wrapped in Goodyear F70-14s maintain the authentic look. Open the doors and a fully restored code 200 blue interior with standard bucket seats and a rare folding back seat greet you. From the carpet to the headliner, everything has been returned to showroom condition. First gen Firebirds don't get much better than this!
