1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS L89 396 Rotisserie Restoration Factory Colors PS PDB

Up for sale we have a gorgeous 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible. This car is an L78 Super Sport that comes with a window sticker. It has undergone a stunning frame off rotisserie restoration and was kept in its factory color scheme. Sold in East TN and restored in TN as well this an amazing opportunity to own one of the most iconic muscle cars to ever rule the streets! The body on this convertible is amazing! Down the sides are straight with excellent fit of all the panels. This '70 does sport the Working Cowl induction hood and those iconic 1 year only Dual Headlights. Being restored in the factory colors was an easy decision as this color combination is arguably one of the best GM offered. The Cranberry Red Paint is accented by the Black Stripes that are buried in the clear. Being base coat clear coat you can tell it's been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine that's slick as a ribbon. This '70 also comes with the Black Convertible top that is Power. All the chrome and stainless appears to have been replaced at the time of the restoration and is still in like new condition. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 14” SS Wheels with the Goodyear Polyglass tires.
On the inside it's done in the factory 788 Trim Code, Medium Red with Bucket seats. When you open the door, you'll notice the door panels, carpet, and seat covers all appear to have been replaced at the time of restoration and are in excellent condition. You can also tell the springs and padding in the seats are great as well. Also, this Chevelle does have the red convertible boot cover for when the top is down. Looking at the dash you'll see the iconic SS round gauges that are working down to the clock, even the Radio is working! In the trunk it's detailed with the trunk Mat, Spare, and Jack.
Under the hood it's powered by the 396 375 HP Big Block 3969854 casting and the CKT Suffix Code. This being a L78 L89 car it has the GM Aluminum Heads and it's also set up with the correct L78/L89 Winters Intake 3963569 Casting with the Correct 3967477 Holley Carb. It doesn't stop there as the exhaust manifolds are correct as well with the 3909879 LH and 3916178. They flow back through the stock style exhaust and mufflers. The L89 powered Big Block is mated to the Muncie Four Speed Trans and the 12 Bolt Posi Rear End with a 4.11 Gear. When you get this Convertible on the rack you're sure to be impressed as it has had a gorgeous rotisserie restoration. All the metal from the floors to the frame appears to be rock solid and in excellent condition. You'll even notice the time that was spent to make sure this Chevelle is badged and marked like she just came off the showroom floor.
