This beautiful full professional frame-off restored, 1970 Palisade Green Metallic GTO we have here at Adventure Classics is a great example of Pontiac's great cars back then.
It is a real #242 Vin Code original GTO with a Number Matching 400 CI V-8 Engine and Muncie 4-speed Transmission.
It is documented with PHS Documentation, copy of the build sheet and Window Sticker, and has the original Owner's Manual too.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our GTO retains the born with the rebuilt original numbers matching 400 cubic inch 350 horsepower engine with the correct Pontiac blue paint on the engine block, factory chrome lid air cleaner and valve covers, full Rochester Quadra Jet 4-barrel carb rebuilt, Variable ratio power steering, disc brakes, factory air conditioning, and is sitting in a meticulous detailed engine compartment.
It has the original rebuilt Muncie M20 4-speed Transmission, the original rebuilt 3.23 Posi rear end, new aluminum radiator, and rides on Cooper Cobra raised white letter performance tires mounted on Pontiac original 15" Rally II Wheels.
Interior
The GTO has the restored black dual bucket seat interior (originally green), factory console and wood trim dash with all the factory gauges, accessory gauges under dash, a 4-speed Hurst shifter and the iconic Hurst T-Handle, driver vanity visor mirror, wood steering wheel, Pontiac floor mats, Factory Radio but not working and a working stereo system in the console, spare, mats, and jack in the restored trunk, and a black vinyl top.
Exterior
Our GTO has had the older full frame-off restoration on all original car. Everything was either new or rebuilt and it still looks like it. It has had one repaint back to the original color paint of 1970 Pontiac GTO Palisade Green Metallic with the black vinyl top and is super shiny with great body panels and fitment as well as great chrome bumpers, GTO decals, muscular looking Ram-Air hood, and the Dual Exhaust.
