The mileage on the odometer shows just over 29k miles, the previous odometer failed and was replaced with a used one. We do not have documentation of the exact mileage, but based on the Carfax history, and overall condition, we're estimating around 80k total miles. Pontiac was the “excitement” division for GM and the Trans Am added even more of such to the Firebird. The Trans Am was a specialty package for the Firebird typically upgrading handling, suspension, and horsepower as well as appearance modifications such as hoods, spoilers, fog lights, and wheels. Trans Am is a trademark so GM actually paid $5 a car to the SCCA. These muscle cars spanned generations but always kept up the thrill of driving. This consistency led them to be featured in popular culture all over the place including Smokey and the Bandit, Knight Rider, and more.
