“Still on MSO”
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe for purchase. As the '70s went on and more and more cars were adapting continuously restringing government regulations and rising insurance premiums, the Trans-Am bucked the trend and boosted sales. This sparked the Z28 to return from Chevrolet and sales reached record heights before more EPA regulations came in 1979 and completely ruined the fun. While body styles changed a lot, the 2nd generation Camaro's run started in 1970 and remains a highly sought after vehicle.
This incredible Z28 is powered by its original 5.7L v8 paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. This incredible time capsule has only 85 miles on it! The car still remains on MSO and has never been titled. The Camaro has the special Z28 striping, original white letter steel belted radial tires, power brakes, power steering, resilient body colored bumpers, Z28 sport steering wheel. Along with all the standard options the car also has tinted glass, color keyed floor mats, intermittent windshield wipers, air conditioning, limited slip differential, aluminum wheels, dual horns, AM/FM radio, and Black custom vinyl bucket seats. The car comes with the build sheet and window sticker as well. The custom “Berlinetta” interior is like new and remains in excellent condition.
