“Monster Muscle”
When people think about muscle cars the Chevelle produced from 1968-72 jumps right to mind. The Chevelle 2nd generation was the GM A-body perfect size for anything you wanted to stuff under the hood to make your ride jump off the line when commanded to do so. Their bold lines leave a lasting, timeless style of the American muscle era. Chevrolet's Chevelle was one of the most successful nameplates. Body styles include coupes, sedans, convertibles and station wagons. Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973 model year, and Lagunas from 1973 through 1976. After a three-year absence, the El Camino was reintroduced as part of the new Chevelle lineup. The Chevelle also provided the platform for the Monte Carlo introduced in 1970.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1969 Chevelle SS for your consideration. The car was restored in 2012 and still presents very well. It is powered by a 454 v8 that is bored out to a 468. Putting the power to asphalt is 373 12 bolt rear end. Highlights include bucket seats, center console, power brakes, power steering, headers, aluminum radiator, new dash, tubular upper and lower control arms, new gas tank, owners manual.
