"Muscle Up"
GR Auto Gallery is excited to offer this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for your consideration. This piece of American muscle is powered by a hefty 350ci V8 and sends power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. The engine starts right up, and the transmission shifts with confidence.
The exterior of this Camaro is finished in a striking Black color that commands the road. The Camaro Z28 featured extra exterior chrome pieces and brown decals that made the car have a more aggressive appearance. To add to its aggressive appearance, this Z28 rides on Cragar S/S wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial tires. Complementing with the black exterior is a black leather interior that despite showing some signs of wear, still looks great. The aftermarket Pioneer radio is connected to a Boss audio system.
As the '70s went on and more and more cars were adapting continuously, restringing government regulations and rising insurance premiums, the Trans-Am bucked the trend and boosted sales. This sparked the Z28 to return from Chevrolet and sales reached record heights before more EPA regulations came in 1979 and completely ruined the fun. While body styles changed a lot, the 2nd generation Camaros run started in 1970 and remains a highly sought after vehicle.
