STK 2839 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
When introduced in 1967, few at Chevrolet imagined that the Gen1 Camaro would eventually become a GM icon like the Bel-Air from a decade earlier. Chevy was simply trying to join the promising pony-car market. Today, many folks say the Gen1 Camaro is one of the best-looking Chevrolets to ever roll off the line. It was an instant success story, one that continues to this day. The current version of the Chevrolet Camaro shadows that same Gen1 legend - a very wise GM marketing decision. Our restored '69 Camaro Z/28 Tribute is a solid example of this enduring classic. Though not a factory Z/28 model, this Camaro has virtually all of the visual features included in the Z/28 package, and updated horsepower. The respray of Butternut Yellow is ideal for this car and the Tuxedo Black Z/28 hood/deck stripes are perfect accents. Visual elements of the the Z/28 model include raised hood, front air dam/rear spoiler, fog lights, simulated rear fender louvers, wheel opening moldings, Z-28 emblems in front/rear fascias, bright accented taillights and bright roof drip moldings. A restored black vinyl interior features a full console, factory in-dash tachometer, Pro-Comp gauge package, Hurst Comp+ shifter and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Horsepower comes from a rebuilt 350 small-block, nicely dressed and housed in a well-designed engine compartment. It is fitted with aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carburetor, performance cam and tube headers - sounds awesome. Torque is delivered through a 4-speed manual transmission. Chassis features include power steering, power disc/drum brakes and 17” American Racing 5-spoke polished alloys with BFGoodrich G-Force T/A performance radials. This Camaro is equally satisfied hosting a downtown parade on Saturday morning, or testing the theories of acceleration on Saturday night. It is Bowtie history. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
