"The American Dream"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely beautiful 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2 for your consideration. The 289Ci engine is comprised of a 289 block with 302 heads. This combination is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The pairing of the 289 with the 4-speed manual is highly desirable and makes for a wonderful driving experience. A prospective buyer may like to know that the '65 has 1) electronic ignition, 2) dual brake master cylinder, and 3) sequential rear turn signals.
The 65 Mustang offered here presents itself amazingly well with its cream-colored coat of paint over a red interior. The quality of the paint can be felt simply by running a hand along the car. Fortunately, the interior is just as nice as the exterior. The interior is free of any major signs of wear. Red even extends up to the dashboard, though it is nicely contrasted by metal trim throughout the center console. Aftermarket gauges have been installed and create a nice interior appearance.
The car comes with an owner's manual and full-service manual. The Ford Mustang 1st generation does not get the credit it deserves. Upon introduction, it was so wildly popular that it created not only copy cats, but a whole new class of automobiles. The pony car was born and Detroit muscle had a new platform to tear down the street in. While many of the muscle car lines have come and go, the Mustang has never taken a break from burning rubber and is still popular in production today. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
