"Plum Crazy Demon"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1972 Dodge Demon for your consideration. The Demon was the performance edition of Dodge's popular Dart model. It came standard with a 318ci V8 and a 3-speed floor-mounted transmission. In 2014 the engine was professionally rebuilt and bored out to its current size of 360ci. Since 2014 the engine has gone less than 500 miles. The 3-speed transmission has been replaced in favor of a 4-speed. Other modifications have been done to the engine such as an Edelbrock air cleaner. Both the engine and transmission are in great condition and power the car down the road with ample power and aggression.
After decoding the fender plate, we noted that the car has been repainted with a Plum Crazy Metallic Purple which is different from the original Black Diamond color the car originally came with. There are a few other cosmetic changes that were done to the car as well. Originally the car had white stripe decals where it has black ones now. Both the repaint and application of new decals are top-notch and show exceptionally well.
Inside the car, a black vinyl interior is featured in good condition. A new audio system has been added to the car. Overall the car is exceptionally clean inside and out and has been wonderfully restored and maintained.
Recently Dodge released the new edition of the Demon under their performance brand SRT. The new Demon pays homage to this model here. Dodge has solidified the Demon both new and old as a true American performance muscle car that is sure to please. Now is your chance to own this spectacular car. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
