1966 Blue Ford Mustang Convertible
Car History
The introduction of the Mustang in 1964 created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.
The 1966 Ford Mustang was the highest production Mustang in all 53 years it has been in production.
We have a 1966 Blue Mustang Convertible here at Adventure Classics that has the C Code engine, great originality, and a convertible to boot that you will love.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our Mustang has the C Code engine which was an optional 289 cubic inch which came with 200 hp @ 4400 RPM and 282 lb/ft @ 2400 RPM.
It looks very factory original with its blue painted factory correct air cleaner assembly, block, intake, and valve covers, all the correct hoses and wires, all sitting in a factory correct, painted and detailed engine compartment and backed up by an automatic transmission.
Interior
Our Mustang has a great Blue Trim, Code 22, interior featuring the twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat with blue carpet and door panels, radio, rare T-handle automatic chrome shifter in the chrome center console, floor mats, and blue and chrome factory Mustang sport steering wheel.
Exterior
Our 1966 Mustang is painted the correct factory F code Arcadian Blue paint job accented by the dark blue convertible top, great chrome and Mustang badging, with chrome front and rear bumpers, and riding on the correct factory wire wheel hubcaps and thin whitewall tires.
Conclusion
For those of you who have been looking for a period correct Mustang that you can drop the top on and cruise down the road, then the 1966 Red Mustang Convertible we have here at Adventure Classics is just right for you.
