Description

One cannot argue with the iconic lines of the first year Camaro. Of course, nothing the factory was turning out in 1967 looked remotely near this. This recently restored and built restomod just finished its transformation, and the results are stunning. With deep reflections in the mirror-like black, straight body panels, and uniform gaps all around, it instantly announces on arrival that there was a lot invested in this mean machine. The appearance has all the great iconic touches of the first generation Camaros. But this midnight-slick Camaro isn't just about carrying all the best first-gen features. The 18-inch US Mag wheels and brand new Nitto NT05 performance tires give this coupe an awesome stance, and their modern appearance hints at plenty more performance upgrades within.

Yes, this Camaro already came from the factory with the right interior. However, that wasn't good enough for this world class Camaro so a completely custom leather interior was installed with Alcantara headliner and door inserts. The investments inside were all about balancing modern conveniences without ruining the vintage car atmosphere. The same goes for the center console that has been given so much attention to detail that the factory clock still works in auxiliary gauge panel. The factory controls for the AM radio and A/C are within easy reach to keep passengers happy, but it's the features positioned just for you the driver that will make you love this clean time machine of an interior. Your left hand grips the shinny rim of the classic wood grain steering wheel. Your right one will never want to leave the GM horseshoe shifter. And nothing beats gazing at the deep dual pod gauges with large factory speedo and tach. But from the moment you turn the key, the rumble that this Camaro produces tells you that it's far superior to anything from the 60s.

The restoration on this Camaro starts back in 2019. New panels and an attention to detail meant there was a terrific canvas to apply the Black paint. This is the perfect backdrop to the first-gen Camaro signatures pieces like the cowl hood and D80 ducktail spoiler. Adding to this dark aggressiveness are chromed areas like the door handles, window trim, side mirrors, ags cap, and even the bumpers. And we know you especially like the darkness of the US Mag Wheels and Nitto tires (over $5K invested in those alone!) The total package is truly a midnight hero.

Open the door to a crisp and dark interior that sets the tone for this Camaro's aggressive attitude. Sure, you have comfort features like a center console and an upgraded AM/FM stereo with auxiliary input. But the moment you slip into the driver's seat, you can instantly tell this coupe wants to get down to business. Your right hand gravitates to the Hurst shifter, and your left one grips the small diameter three-spoke steering wheel. Directly in front of you is the full Dakota Digital gauge package that's glowing a cool blue. So you know there's something special going on under the hood before you even turn the key and hear it roar.

The dark and sinister appearance continues into the engine bay, but you also instantly know you're looking at a far more modern powerplant than this Camaro ever had before. This is an LS1 V8 borrowed from the final generation Pontiac Trans Am. It's been upgraded with a FAST 92mm intake, 36lbs injectors, ARP bolts, and TCI headers. This connects to a Pypes Violator 2.5-inch dual exhaust to make sure they all can hear the kind of serious power this Camaro is making. The enhanced V8 is mated to a close ratio Magnum T56 six-speed manual to give you full control over the big power and its thunderous soundtrack. This connects to a stout Currie 9-inch rear with Tru Trac 31 spline and 3.89 ratio for great takeoffs. And more than just getting off the line, this one is an all-around performer with suspension upgrades like a TCI front subframe with tubular A-arms, a thick sway bar, and adjustable Ridetech coilovers. The rear has TCI subframe connectors and adjustable coilovers. Plus, you've got the superior control of a full Wilwood four-wheel disc brake package and ultra-grippy (and expensive) BF Goodrich gForce Rival tires.

This classic Camaro is an $80,000+ build, and we even have the receipts to prove it. It's an amazing performance machine that's truly one-of-a-kind. So your choice is to call today or risk missing out on it forever!
