"Muscle Up"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe for purchase. As the 70's went on and more and more cars were adapting continuously restringing government regulations and rising insurance premiums, the Trans-Am bucked the trend and boosted sales. This sparked the Z28 to return from Chevrolet and sales reached record heights before more EPA regulations came in 1979 and completely finished the fun. While many body styles changed a lot, the 2nd generation Camaro's run started in 1970 and remain a highly sought after body style.
The Z28 is powered by its 350 v8 paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. The car runs and handles as it should. Highlights include bucket seats, Pioneer AM/FM/CD player, power windows, power locks, moonroof, spare tire, rear window louvers that are not installed, 15” Keystone Klassic wheels with Goodyear white letter tires, Edelbrock chrome air cleaner and valve covers, Edelbrock aluminum intake, headers, Holley 4 barrel carburetor, power brakes, power steering and a new alternator. The current owner has owned the car for 33 years. According to the owner, the engine has been rebuilt and has a Competition cam. This is really fun classic muscle that is a great cruiser and an excellent car to show off. Please call or email for more details!
