"Well Documented and Highly Restored"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible for purchase. The first generation of Mustangs started to grow in 1967. They were produced with an overall more massive and aggressive look. Front and rear styling was more pronounced, the instrument panel became thicker, and the gauges were larger. The 1968 models then received revised side scoops, steering wheel, and gasoline caps. The pony car was now big enough to allow for more power truly entering the muscle car fray and has yet to relinquish its spot.
This '68 is both highly restored and documented. The Mustang was sold new from the Logan-Norris Ford in Washington DC dressed in its original Gulfstream Aqua paint for a whopping $3,058.72! The car was then sold and made its way to Indiana, and finally the car was moved and sold and made its way to Arizona. The car comes with a binder full of receipts and documents including a Marti Report, build sheet, owner's manual and dealer brochure.
The Gulfstream Aqua shimmers in the light, the chrome is in excellent condition as well. The car is very neat and tidy throughout. The power top works as it should and is in excellent condition. The 6 cylinder fires right up and the 3 speed manual transmission functions as it should. Highlights include AM/FM radio with AUX inputs from Custom Auto Sound, car cover, jack, spare tire, power steering and BF Goodrich white letter radial tires mounted on 14 inch steel wheels with wheel covers.
The Ford Mustang remains an American icon and is hand down, one of the most recognizable cars ever produced. These cars have a loyal following that continues to grow and for this reason are globally sought after. Please call or email us for more information on this 1968 Ford Mustang.
