Debuted for the 2003 model year and code-named 'Terminator”, this 5th generation Mustang SVT Cobra incorporated a host of serious performance upgrades. The SVT engineers decided that since this was to be the last Fox-body SVT Cobra, it needed to leave a lasting impression. Our unmolested 2004, two-owner Terminator convertible is an outstanding example of their results and comes with a transferrable extended Delta Auto Warranty that is effective through June 2022. The garage-kept Torch Red clearcoat finish is in better-than-factory condition. It is accented by a factory composite raised hood, front air dam and subtle rear spoiler. The high-grade Grey leather interior is also in excellent condition Seat inserts are Medium Graphite Suede with embossed 'Cobra' logos. Comfort and convenience features include: air conditioning, power convertible top, power driver seat, power locks, keyless entry, power tinted-windows, tilt wheel and cruise control. Mustang SVT gauges are set in the factory dash and tunes are provided courtesy of a premium Mach 460 AM/FM/CD changer (6-disc) stereo system. Horsepower is furnished by a cast-iron 4.6-liter DOHC (four-valves/cylinder) modular Ford V-8 that is topped by an Eaton M-112 roots-style supercharger. Output with 8psi boost is 390bhp at 6000 rpm and 390 lb/ft of torque at 3500 at rpm. (Dyno-testing has shown actual horsepower to be in excess of 420.) SVT internal upgrades include: forged crank, forged Manley rods, aluminum flywheel and HD clutch components. Power is delivered through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual gearbox and aluminum driveshaft to a Traction-Loc limited slip differential w/factory gearing. Exhaust is routed through a FlowMaster stainless steel exhaust system. The Terminator chassis is equipped with power steering and vented Brembo 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes (13”f/11.65'r). Front suspension is factory modified MacPherson strut w/Bilstein dampeners, 29mm stabilizer bar and tower support bar. The rear suspension is a multi-link independent design w/Bilstein shocks, coil springs and 26mm stabilizer bar. New Michelin Pilot '40 Series' performance radials are mounted on factory 17”x9” SVT polished alloys.
