GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this iconic piece of American Muscle, this super clean, 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. The Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. It was developed to compete with the Ford Fairlane. The Chevelle SS represented Chevrolet's entry into the muscle car battle in 1964 and lasted through 1972. Those eight years are known as the golden age of horsepower wars where big block motors fueled big demand for the power thirsty public.

The 1966 Chevelle offered here is powered by a period correct, 396 big block engine hooked to an automatic transmission and features a posi-traction rear end. The car features super sport trim, ss hood, bucket seats, console with shifter and clock, AM factory radio, power steering, power brakes, (The car was originally and Air Conditioned car), Aluminum radiator, 15 inch Rally Wheels with Good Year white letter tires. The car is finished in professionally applied Tuxedo Black exterior paint over black vinyl exterior paint.

The underside of the car features new Flomaster Exhaust, new fuel tank, new bushings, new suspension components, nicely detailed frame etc. The car has an awesome sound and an aggressive stance and is ready for immediate enjoyment.
