When the car's body was solid and smooth, Daytona Yellow 2-stage led hours of careful color-sanding. Stare in to this panther's smooth engine bay and you'll find a polished and painted 396 that, during the car's detailed restoration, was bored .060 over, fitted with forged TRW pistons and fully rebuilt. Behind that big block, a proven Muncie 4-speed twists torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. That axle rides a fully restored suspension, which backs quick-ratio power steering with a Belltech rear sway bar. At the corners of those sturdy bones, four Wilwood calipers cinch a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement through American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which spin 215/35ZR18 Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs and 255/30ZR20 Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs around a custom combination of black spokes and polished rims. Swing the doors and you'll find a customized leather interior that wraps firm Corbeau seats in a nice blend of classic flash and modern flair. In front of those seats, a factory dash hangs rebuilt telemetry beside Vintage Air Gen IV climate control and modern Alpine audio. Below that dash, a factory console balances a polished Hurst shifter behind factory 4-pack accessory gauges. And in front of the driver, a Rosewood Steering Wheel laps a tilting column.
