Frame Off Built Camaro Pro Touring EFI LS7 V8 6 Speed 12 Bolt Moser PS Discs
A clean coupe that's been converted into one of the sickest rides around via Detroit Speed suspension work, a tough 6-speed transmission and 427 cubic inches of LS7 small block, this red-hot Camaro can be both driven and displayed! The beneficiary of a ground-up restoration that was completed in early 2015, this Torch Red pony car is the product of all-new sheetmetal and A LOT of time spent sweating details. From its straight panels to its PPG Deltron 2000 2-stage, the car's rock-solid body displays immaculate craftsmanship that was completed by Mike Riggs of York, South Carolina's Mike's Custom Cars. Under the hood, a Chevrolet Performance LS7 utilizes a forged crank, titanium rods and hypereutectic pistons to twist 505 SAE-certified horsepower into 470 lb./ft. of torque. That ferocious small block spins a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed that's strung between a Centerforce DYAD clutch, an aluminum driveshaft and solid, 1350 V-joints. That transmission commands a Detroit Speed-prepped Moser 12-bolt that's fitted with a Wavetrac differential, 35-spline axles and 3.90 Yukon gears. That tough driveline rides in a full Detroit Speed suspension that's enhanced with adjustable JRi coil-overs and Hyperco springs. That first-class suspension sits inside Wilwood 4 and 6-piston calipers, which utilize Hydratech hydroboost and an adjustable Wilwood proportioning valve to squeeze 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. And power meets the pavement through 3-piece Forgeline ZX3Ps, which spin two 275/35ZR18 Toyo Proxes, and two 335/30ZR18 Toyo Proxes, around deep, polished lips. With its universal style, excellent performance and modern comfort, this slick Camaro represents the best of everything.
