The powerful mill is branded with a 9778789 casting code and a WS code stamped under the passenger side cylinder head and a L94 (December 9th, 1964) casting date in the distributor valley. The date matches the car's early January build date well. Topped with a correct Tri-Power setup, it spins to life easily and idles with none of the fussiness that other multi-carburetor engines seem to experience. If you were paying attention you would have noticed that this car originally left the factory with a black vinyl interior, but during its extensive frame off restoration the owner decided to go with a white or parchment vinyl interior to accent the burgundy exterior.
