Frame Off Restored GTO Judge 400 Ram Air IV V8 4 Speed
Ask anyone to list their favorite muscle cars and a car like this freshly restored real deal 1970 GTO Judge is usually in the top three answers. Equipped with a fully rebuilt, numbers matching drivetrain and sprayed in a correct color combination, it wraps a fire-breathing Pontiac V8 and a rock solid 4-speed transmission in enough outstanding eyeball appeal to create what might be the ultimate muscle car. It sits today fully restored and 1 of only 397 Ram Air IV's built in 1970. The beneficiary of a highly detailed, frame-off restoration that was finished in 2006, this super slick '70 GTO wears correct GM code 10 Polar White urethane under vibrant yellow, red and blue Judge decals. The fender tag tells us the car was built in January of 1970 and was optioned with almost every luxury Pontiac had on its order sheets; and currently, it sits as an exclusive collector piece. Pop the hood on this awesome GTO and you'll find an original 400 cubic inch Pontiac V8 that's branded with a 9799915 casting number, a Ram Air IV exclusive “WW” engine stamp. Turning stout 10.8 to 1 compression into 370 horsepower, this fully rebuilt powerhouse utilizes the original block and heads. The exhaust manifolds, intake, distributor, and carburetor are date code correct, but not original to the car. At the top of the storied mill, a Ram Air system funnels wind into a correct 4-barrel Quadrajet carburetor that's bolted beneath a traditional satin black air cleaner. Take a look inside this A-Body's airy cockpit and you'll find a correct GM code 258 black vinyl interior which conveys a level of luxury and detail that's traditionally absent from 70s muscle machines. At the front of the car, a straight and crack-free black dash wears awesome looking engine turned trim below bright wood applique and original gauges. This is definitely one of the nicest and coolest GTOs we've ever featured, and most folks who love muscle cars will agree that 1970 is a high-water mark in terms of styling, performance and exclusivity.
