Restored Numbers Matching GT500 428 4 Speed
If you've ever dreamed of owning a rare Shelby GT500 that mixes a numbers-matching drivetrain with a concours restoration, you've clicked the right icon! Backing a tough 428 Police Interceptor with a rugged Toploader 4-speed, this fully documented Mustang is a pristine example of one of the finest classics ever produced. Shelby GT500 number 02110 was delivered new to Jack Loftus Ford in Hinsdale, Illinois. Recently restored to better-than-new condition, it represents an incredible opportunity to own a real thoroughbred. Paint and bodywork are show quality, befitting a classic of this caliber. The car's traditional Shelby fiberglass pieces fit together properly, including its often difficult decklid spoiler. Those pieces are covered in a familiar coat of Candyapple Red that's been finished to a level that makes old school Rolls-Royce workers envious. And bright white stripes, which are not original to this particular build, have been painted over correct GT500 call-outs. Lift this Shelby's glossy red hood and you'll find an original, 428 cubic inch V8 that hangs a correct C6ME-A casting number above an era-correct January (A) 5th (5) of 1966 (6) casting date. Completely rebuilt from its carburetor all the way down to its Ford Blue oil pan, this Mustang's Police Interceptor motor claims a very conservative 355 horsepower. Behind that legendary V8, an original close-ratio Toploader, which is branded with a GT500-exclusive RUG-S build stamp, spins streetable 3.50 gears via a correct Ford 9-inch. At the front of the car, familiar torsion bars hang a correct sway bar and factory power steering between freshly rebuilt brakes. And at the edges of the car, power flows to the pavement through correct E70-15 Goodyear Speedway rollers that are wrapped around 10-spoke Shelby wheels. This professionally restored GT500 is a documented, fully-sorted classic that drives and sounds every bit as good as it looks. Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information!

Big block power with 565 cubic inches of displacement and lots of friends, this car is wild. Opening on the sight of six American muscle car masterpieces, 1320 seemingly has their work cut out for them in the information department. That's because the collection features such icons as a bright red Chevrolet Bel Air, a yellow Camaro, and what looks like a lifted Chevrolet K10. In fact, the owner seems to have a mighty strong affection for GM and Chevrolet automobiles. On top of all that, there i read more
