Once that highly detailed metal work transitioned from the garage bay to the paint booth, classic 60s panels were re-sprayed in their correct GM code N Burgundy. Less obvious of course, is the stalwart engine's correct 9778789 casting number, November (K) 27th (27) of 1964 (4) casting date and tri-power 389/4-speed exclusive “WS” stamp. The stout 389 sends power to a correct Muncie M20 4-speed which wears a familiar 3851325 casting number and a Muncie (P) assembled on September (09) 24th (24) of 1964 build stamp. That 4-speed spins a stalwart GM 10 bolt rear end which is stuffed with gravel busting gears. At the sides of that rock solid drivetrain, a professionally restored suspension is complete with both factory optioned power steering and heavy duty power drum brakes at all four of its corners. And applying the muscle to the pavement is a pristine set of 15 inch painted steel wheels which spin G70-15 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports around detailed Pontiac Motor Division hub caps.
