Documented Numbers Matching Trans Am Ram Air IV 4 Speed

This particular piece of Pontiac history was built at Van Nuys, CA plant in the second week of July, 1970 and shipped for initial sale to Westward Pontiac in Phoenix, AZ. It had been originally intended for sale in CA, however a “Change Alert” on the PHS says someone changed their mind. It is documented with its original build sheet, Pontiac Historical Society papers, its original cowl tag and pre-restoration photos. Restoration completed to the highest standards, including the proper Polar White overspray over the red oxide on the bottom of the car. One of the rarest Pontiacs ever built, with only 59 4-speed Ram Air IV cars being built, only 24 of which were built at the Van Nuys plant, and perhaps the only one with the evaporative emissions control system.
