Description

Up for sale we have a 1970 Pontiac GTO. This is a true GTO with PHS documentation. It has undergone a complete frame off restoration and is done in the factory color combo. The Atoll Blue covers a straight body that has great door fit and very good gaps all around. Looking closely at the paint you will see it has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. At the time of the resto all the weather stripping was replaced round the door and trunk along with new roof rail seals. All the glass in in excellent condition and new window felt has been installed as well. You'll also notice all the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition from the bumpers to the headlight bezels. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of factory rallyes with Goodyear Polyglass G70-14 tires.
On the inside, it's also done in the factory combination being done in Blue with Bucket Seats and Console with the Hurst Shifter. When you open the door, you'll notice the door panels have been replaced and are in great condition. Also, the seat covers have been replaced and all the padding is very good. The headliner has also been replaced, and the Visors and Rear-View mirror are like new. Looking at the dash you'll see the pad is in great condition. It has had the Amp, Temp and Oil gauges added under the dash and they're working. In the dash the Speedo, Tach, and Gas are working along with the radio.
Under the hood the engine bay is well detailed with black inner fenders and firewall. The engine is a 400 with casting number 979991 which decodes to be a Ram Air IV Block. It's mated to a M20 Muncie Four Speed and a 10 Bolt Rear End with 3.23 Gears. Also, it's set up with a '69 model Pontiac Intake 9796614 and a '68 Model Pontiac Quadrajet. It has the stock style Ram Air Breather and the Chrome Valve Covers. For exhaust, it has the stock style manifolds with dual pipes and the stock style mufflers. This GTO does have Power Steering and Power Brakes with Disc up front and drums out back. When you look under it the floors look great along with the frame. New body bushings have been installed along with new brake lines, fuel lines, and a new gas tank.
