1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 A Code Power Steering Power Disc Brakes AC
Up for sale we have a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. If you're looking for a Mustang that checks all the boxes then look no further. This one is an A Code car that comes with Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, and Air Condition. Originally it was in North Carolina where it was owned by Harry Deal of The Galaxies Band. It has since had complete restoration that offers a ton of options. When restored this car was redone in its' factory color of Rangoon Red, but it was also upgraded with the Hood Scoop and White Stripes. Looking down the sides you'll see the panels are straight with great fit. The paint has been polished to a deep rich shine that's slick to the touch. Inside the jams and in the trunk, looks great as well! To accent the Red, it has had new chrome and stainless installed. The glass was also replaced along with the seals, and it has new weather stripping around the doors and trunk. To complete the look, it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Billet Specialty Wheels with new tires!
Next, we will look at the interior of this Fastback. On the inside, it's also done in the factory color scheme. The Black Pony Interior is the perfect complement to the Rangoon Red. Also, it has the Deluxe Door panels along with the center console. The gauges and glove box are detailed with Woodgrain option that goes great with the Steering Wheel. You'll also notice that it has had the radio upgraded to an AM/FM CD Player. Oh, and you can't forget the Under-Dash Vintage AC system to keep you cool while you're cruising.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood of this Mustang is gorgeous. The inner fenders, firewall, and under side of the hood is all painted gloss black. The Power comes from the '65 model 289 V8 that has an Edelbrock 600 4 Barrel Carb. The engine is mated to the C4 Trans and the 8” Rear End with 3.00 gears. This Mustang comes with some great options like the Power Brakes with Disc up front. Also, it has Power Steering and new ball joints and bushings were installed in the front end. The Vintage A/C is a great upgrade that keeps the engine bay clean and neat. You'll also notice it has Chrome Valve Covers, Breather, Shock Tower Braces, and Firewall Braces. When you look under this '65 it has new floors pans and everything has been detailed out beautifully.
