1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, Rare 390ci "S" Code, Automatic, Beautiful Restoration
Art & Speed is pleased to offer this beautiful and rare 1969 "S-Code" Mach 1. Powered by a 390ci big block and C6 automatic transmission, this one is one of a small number of 390 powered cars. Authenticated by Kevin Marti, this Acapulco Blue beauty is restored to show condition. Although restored to perfection, the engine block is non-original.
This Mach 1 is a great example of a classic muscle car with modern convenience. The 390 cubic inch big block makes plenty of power that is delivered through the C6 automatic transmission. The Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust plays the right notes. A recent refinish was done using modern materials. A base coat of Acupolco Blue Metallic was lathered with clear. Shining more than ever before, she is now polished to a show quality finish and shows proudly from every angle.
Modern upgrades include a new R134 climate control system from Vintage Air. A hidden sound system featuring Bluetooth connectivity and a JL audio Amplifier delivers quality sound. The original black bucket seats still hold the classic red stripe letting you know this mustang is a step above the rest. All lights work as they should and the interior is in great overall shape with minor aging of the chrome trim that surrounds the shifter as seen on most. The black headliner and carpet show well. The famous Rim Blow steering wheel was an option originally ordered on this car.
On the outside of this Mach 1 you are sure to be impressed with the style of the black window louvers and rear deck spoiler. A tasteful upgrade with the Magnum 500 wheels and raised white letter tires, completing the classic muscle look of this Mach 1.
