1969 Chevelle SS 396, 4-Speed, Cortez Silver, A/C, New Interior, Super Sport

This beautiful SS396 Chevelle is a great example of a car that has survived the decades without being turned over to the rotisserie restoration treatment. Yet it remains in remarkably good condition, maintaining the feel that it had when it was driven on the streets during its heyday. Although not a concours car, this SS has been treated to a freshened engine during the last 5000 miles, along with a new Vintage Air climate control system using factory vents. New wheels and tires, new upholstery, carpets and headliner all contribute to a fantastic looking car that can be driven at will without fear of destroying or devaluing the car.

The great stance is enhanced by 18" BOSS wheels with staggered rubber front and rear. The interior upholstery is fresh all around, including new seat foam. This Chevelle feels great, drives like it should and makes all the right sounds. Rowing through the gears with the 4 speed Hurst shifter is icing on the cake! And the new audio system allows you to take your favorite tunes with you.

The exterior presents well and grabs attention. Although not show quality, it will turn heads all day long. The paint shows to be of good driver quality with only minor defects, The front chrome bumper has a great finish, while the rear appears original and does show a few scratches as one would expect of its age. All of the stainless is showing to be in good overall condition with only a few spots showing any wear as to be expected with age. The glass is clear and shows little wear. The hood, trunk and doors open and close as they should, All of the windows work as they should with no dragging.
