Pontiac discontinued the GTO from its line-up in 1974 and reintroduced the name for only 3 years from 2004 to 2006. This 2006 Pontiac GTO is an excellent example of the final, and most sought after year, of the re-introduction GTO. Powered by the LS2 6.0 Liter V8 that produced 400 HP and 400 lb-ft torque and backed by the 6 speed manual transmission. It has been noted that these 2006 GTO's were the fastest Pontiac ever produced and were capable of a 0-60 time of just 4.6 seconds. The great sound comes from the factory dual exhaust with chrome tips. The stopping power comes from the 4 wheel power disc brakes. This fine example runs and drives extremely well.
