289 V8 / 4-Speed / Power Brakes / Power Top / Great Driver!
This 1965 Mustang Convertible was treated to a complete restoration by it's previous owner and is a very well sorted and great performing car. The body is very solid and shows no signs of rust, it was upgraded with Global West subframe connectors to add to the rigidity of the convertible. Nearly every component was rebuilt or replaced during the restoration and car was re-finished in it's original color of code "X" Vintage Burgundy.
It is powered by what is believed to be its original 289 "C-Code" V8, it has been upgraded to a 4V setup using Ford components including intake and Ford Service Holley carburetor. It runs strong and is a reliable driver. It is shifted by what is believed to be the original rebuilt Ford 4-Speed "Toploader" Manual Transmission (door data plate confirms this as an original 4-Speed car). It's White Power top was replaced when the car was painted. It stops via Power brakes and breaths via dual exhaust.
This is a very well sorted convertible that runs and drives as good as it looks, with no apparent leaks or mechanical issues. Truly a plug and play car that we've enjoyed driving regularly!
