1969 Pontiac Firebird 400

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Pontiac Firebird. This Firebird 400 is a highly optioned and quite original California "black plate" example that remained with its original owner for nearly 50 years. It was sold new by Mission Pontiac in San Bernardino and was optioned with the 400 ci V8, power assist group (automatic, power steering, power disk brakes), Decor group, bucket seats with center console and air conditioning.

The color combination is stunning -- Limelight Green Poly with Parchment Cordova top over dark green interior. We believe it has been repainted once to a nice standard; the interior appears all original with the exception of an added modern radio. Underneath it is clear that this is a dry California car with no evidence of rust, repair or undercoating.

It runs and drives well, making good power and shifting smoothly. The Protect-O-Plate, owner's manual, warranty book, original sales documents, ignition hang tag, California black plate with Mission Pontiac surround, and a photograph of the original owner with the car in 1969 and later at a car show are included. Additionally the original steel wheels and wheel covers are included.
