This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible has been professionally restored through a comprehensive ground-up, nut-and-bolt build completed by Tony's Muscle Cars of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania. Finished in House of Kolor Apple Red with a contrasting tan canvas convertible top, it combines the unmistakable styling of Chevrolet's legendary muscle car with modern Chevrolet Performance engineering and carefully selected chassis upgrades. Exterior features include a functional Cowl Induction hood with hood pins, an SS-style grille, polished bumpers, a front chin spoiler, a Super Sport-style rear panel insert, custom rear valance with integrated dual exhaust outlets, polished mirrors, and staggered 17" and 18" Foose Knuckle wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Power comes from a Chevrolet Performance LS376/480 6.2L V8 producing a factory-rated 495 horsepower and 473 lb-ft of torque, backed by a Tremec Super Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73 gearing and limited-slip differential. Additional upgrades include a Be Cool aluminum radiator with an electric fan, UMI Performance suspension components, factory-style power steering, Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, and an aluminized dual exhaust system with an H-pipe crossover and turbo-style mufflers. Inside, the Saddle vinyl interior retains a factory-inspired appearance while incorporating Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control, a RetroSound AM/FM receiver with Bluetooth capability, a Hurst shifter, front bucket seats, a rear bench seat, and a Chevrolet Rally steering wheel.
