Rare Big Block
The year was 1972—the muscle car wars were dying, emissions were tightening their grip, and the era of factory big blocks was taking its last breath. Then this monster rolled out.
This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Real RS/SS is one of only 970 built, making it one of the rarest and most desirable second-gen Camaros to ever leave the factory. And being the final year a big block found its way into a production muscle car, this thing represents the end of an outlaw era.
Under the hood sits the rebuilt, numbers matching 396 Big Block, delivering the kind of brutal low-end torque that made big block Chevys legendary in the first place. It's been upgraded with a 700R4 overdrive transmission, giving you the best of both worlds—classic muscle with highway cruising capability. Out back, the original 12-bolt rear with 3.42 gears and Posi traction keeps this beast planted when the hammer drops.
Finished in its factory Cranberry Red with black stripes, this Camaro looks like pure trouble sitting still. The dark gray 15x7 Mag wheels give it that perfect street-fighter stance without trying too hard. It's aggressive, clean, and unmistakably RS/SS.
Inside, the black interior with woodgrain trim keeps the vintage muscle vibe alive, while factory heat and A/C make it comfortable enough to actually enjoy. Power steering and power brakes with front discs keep the driving experience tight and manageable—even with all that big block grunt under the hood.
And then there's the Holley EFI setup—modern reliability without killing the soul of the car. Turn the key, hit the throttle, and it responds instantly.
This isn't just another Camaro.
It's the last gasp of the factory big block era—and it came out swinging.
