2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 – LS1 Powered Fun Driver

Offered for sale is a 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 finished in Dark Royal Blue with black-accented hood, roof, and rear spoiler. The car sits on Corvette Z06 wheels, wrapped with Goodyear tires up front and Mickey Thompson tires in the rear, giving it an aggressive stance and solid traction.

The body and paint show typical wear for its age, including minor scratches and imperfections. This is a driver-quality paint job, not a show car, but it still presents well on the road.

Inside, the Camaro retains its original black and gray cloth bucket seat interior. An aftermarket Pioneer head unit has been installed along with dual 12” JBL subwoofers mounted in the trunk, providing a solid sound system upgrade. Please note: the dashboard lights and gauge illumination are currently inoperable. The odometer shows 118,468 original miles, and the car carries a clean title.

Power comes from the legendary 5.7L LS1 V8, upgraded with headers and a full Magnaflow exhaust, producing a strong and aggressive exhaust note. The 4L60E automatic transmission has recently been rebuilt and features a 2800-stall torque converter and shift kit, making it responsive and fun to drive. An aftermarket rear differential cover has also been added.

Handling has been improved with an aftermarket suspension setup, including front and rear sway bars, upgraded control arms, and triangular subframe connectors. The car also features an electric fan setup with a manual switch located near the automatic shifter.

This Camaro runs and drives great, steers and stops as it should, and sounds excellent going down the road. It's a fun, turn-key driver for someone looking to enjoy a strong LS1-powered Z28 and who isn't overly concerned with high-end cosmetics or minor electrical issues.
