2007 Ford Mustang GT Premium California Special tribute for your consideration.

Since 1964, the Mustang has created its own class of automobile and in its wake

stands a lot of imitators and wannabes. The well-muscled pony car is a pleasure to

drive and in 2005 the Mustang got a ground up redesign with tougher styling cues

from the muscle car mania generations. Low mileage, well maintained examples are

great turn-key ready to go powerful cars that are a ton of fun to drive with modern

technology's benefits. They are fast, fun, and ready whenever you are and when

done right command all the attention on the road.

The California Special (CS) was revived in 2007 as a nod to the originals in 1968.

California Dealers dreamt up the idea to have a special edition of their own to

market up and down the west coast. The California Special was born and are

valuable collector's items today. As a tribute to the 1968 California Special, Ford

added a limited production factory GT/California Special in 2007. This GT (C/S

tribute) is based on a Mustang GT Premium with a 4.6 liter SOHC V-8 engine. This

tribute example sports side stripes (with GT/CS behind the front wheel RH and LH),

side scoops (behind doors), 18" polished aluminum wheels, rolled exhaust tips, faux

gas cap (with words "California Special"), lowered front bumper/valance and unique

rear bumper.

This low mileage Mustang is in excellent condition inside, outside, and underneath.

It's been stored and used sparingly in summers here in northern Michigan and the

care it received is reflected in the condition. Its power is estimated in the

neighborhood of 400+ HP and the 4.6L V8 engine benefits from an upgraded short

throw Ford Racing shifter, carbon intake, cam, stage 3 tune and short underdrive

pulley mated to 5-speed manual transmission. Everything works including the air

conditioning, keyless entry, stereo, lights, etc. for its next owner!

Finding another car in this condition with low miles is becoming near impossible.

These cars have escalated in the market and see no reason why this car will not

continue to appreciate over the next several years to come. This example comes

with a clean CARFAX report, car cover and, weathertech mats and a fitted
