Pro Built Pro Touring Camaro Custom LS V8 Tremec 6-speed A/C Leather ///
This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro pro-tourer, nicknamed Cabin Fever, is the product of a professional rotisserie build that earned a seven-page feature in All Chevy Performance Magazine. Finished in custom Axalta “Georgia Clay” with smoked glass and staggered Coy's C5 Gunmetal wheels, the car received smoothed panels, deleted marker lights, custom exhaust pockets, and Detroit Speed mini-tubs to accommodate massive 315-series rear tires. Power comes from a Texas Speed–built 5.3L LS V8 with CNC-ported heads, hydraulic-roller cam, Holley Terminator X EFI, and Ultimate Headers feeding a custom stainless exhaust, producing roughly 470 horsepower. A Tremec T56 six-speed manual with a McLeod clutch delivers that output to a 10-bolt Auburn posi with 4.30 gears and Moser axles. Chassis Crafters engineered the suspension with a custom subframe, rack-and-pinion steering, and a four-link rear, all supported by QA1 coilovers, while Corvette-spec disc brakes with 13-inch front and 12-inch rear rotors ensure modern stopping power. Inside, the Camaro blends performance and comfort with black leather–wrapped fourth-gen Camaro seats, custom-stitched panels, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and a Pioneer audio system with Digital Designs speakers and a Sundown subwoofer. Documented with build photos, receipts, and its feature spread, Cabin Fever is a second-gen Camaro that perfectly balances show-quality presentation with contemporary pro-touring performance.
