"OMG-Body!!!"
This 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix is a survivor that comes to us from the 2nd owner. It features just 47937 miles on the odometer and is powered by its 5.0 liter V8 engine, automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. It is finished in its original factory Pontiac White exterior paint over blue velvet interior with coordinating blue vinyl landau top. This Grand Prix is factory fitted with creature comforts such as power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, driver mirror remote adjustment, interior trim decor, faux wood dash facia, gauge package, working clock, AM / FM stereo with cassette, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, sport mirrors, optional wire wheel covers, jack, spare and tire iron etc.
The car remains nearly all original to include paint, interior and trim. The exterior body and body panels are in excellent condition and exhibit its factory fitment, the trim and plastic bumper extensions remain intact, which is rare for these cars. The White exterior paint is original and overall shows well with some expected patina and light checking on the top side. The vinyl roof is original to the car as well, it is not ripped or torn, but has shrunk back a little bit from the leading edge. The original blue inteiror remains super clean and tidy, the dash is intact, all the gauges appear to work including the clock, the upholstery is in very good original condition with no tears, holes or burns. Mechanically, this Grand Prix starts, runs and drives like a Pontiac. Smoothly applied power, tight and smooth suspension, and very good braking. One finger on the wheel highway driving.
General Motors G-body cars of this generation are becoming red hot in the classic car marketplace and values are rapidly on the rise. Clean, unmolested examples as this Grand Prix are highly sought after. As originals, they are excellent vehicles to drive as well as a clean pallet for chosen modifications. The body style strikes a chord with all of Generation X and the car here represents a great opportunity for any enthusiast looking to enter the classic car investment arena.
