1995 Ford Mustang GT transformed into a street-able track car. Originally a clean-title vehicle with no accidents and a history primarily in California, this Mustang was extensively upgraded in 2016 to optimize it for road course performance while maintaining street legality. Under the hood, a 369 cubic inch (6.0L) engine delivering 450 horsepower, built on a Man O' War aluminum decked block with a 3.4-inch stroker crankshaft, forged internals, high-performance cylinder heads, 10.7:1 compression, and a Holley HP port fuel injection system. The transmission is a heavy-duty Astro A5-speed manual with REM polished gears and a dual-disc clutch setup, optimized for track durability and performance. The transmission requires Gforce GF2000 additive when changing the fluid. The exterior features a custom heat extractor hood, hood pins, and cold air ducting from the front fog light openings to the brakes, enhancing cooling during track use. The wheels are authentic 17x9-inch Ford Cobra R units, paired with drilled rotors and Hawk brake pads, delivering strong stopping power supported by four-wheel disc brakes. The tires are relatively new Firestone radials with less than 3,000 miles on them. Inside, equipped with a five-point harness, Sparco racing seat on the drivers side, a roll bar, and aftermarket gauges. The interior retains stock door panels and power accessories but has had the radio and antenna removed. Additional technical information includes: Internally balanced engine, a 8-quart road race oil pan with internal baffles, a windage tray, a Comp Cam camshaft with roller lifters and steel roller rockers, an MSD crank trigger ignition system, Trick Flow Track Heat intake, BBK throttle body, and custom headers designed to clear the larger oil pan. Equipped with an oil cooler plumbed with AN fittings. The rear end features a Ford 8.8-inch Cobra differential with carbon fiber positive traction clutches, a 3.73:1 gear ratio, and a carrier support cover. 8:1 ratio overdrive. Aluminum flywheel and driveshaft. The Mustang runs on 93 octane fuel for street use but can be tuned with race fuel additives for higher octane track days. On the road the Mustang provides a balance of raw power, precise handling, and street usability, making it a compelling choice for enthusiasts seeking a versatile, track-ready car that can be street driven.
