Ford introduced a re-designed 2005 model year Mustang at the 2004 North American Auto Show. The fifth-generation Mustang's styling echoes the fastback Mustang models of the late 1960's. These Mustangs were manufactured at the Flat Rock Assembly plant in Michigan.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in Medium Parchment leather and interior appointments include a touchscreen Kenwood FM/CD/Bluetooth, SiriusXM, Pandora, and iPhone stereo. Additional features include a power 6-way adjustable driver's seat, AC, tilt wheel, power locks and windows, and remote keyless entry with two fobs. The three-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel fronts a 145-MPH speedometer, 8K tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 165,974 miles.
The Mustang is finished in Vista Blue and exterior equipment includes a tan power convertible top with glass rear window, a rear decklid spoiler, front fog lights, dual power mirrors, variable interval wipers and dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets. The 17” muti-spoke wheels are mounted to Pirelli P7AS plus tires, 235/55R17 all the way around with DOT dates of 2024. The car is equipped with front and rear stabilizer bars as well as traction control. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel power disc brakes.
The 4.6L V8 engine features three valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a limited slip differential. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
