1965 Pontiac LeMans GTO Convertable, Tri-Power, 4 speed, 323 Posi,Tiger Gold

You are looking at a true survivor 1965 Pontiac lemans GTO Convertible. It was born with the following factory options: Gran Turismo Omologato GTO 4bbl 389 CI V-8, dual exhaust, sport springs and shocks, 4 speed wide ratio floor shift, seven blade fan and fan clutch, chrome air cleaner and valve covers, GTO emblems, bucket seat with a console, push button radio, wire wheel covers 14”, Rally Gauge cluster and tachometer, 3;23 positrac rear end. The special order Tiger gold paint, black top and black interior. Over time several excellent upgrades and improvements were made. The 14” wire wheels were replaced with 15” rally wheels, the Tiger gold paint was re applied in a body on frame restoration. The convertible top was replaced, the top frame was blasted and re finished. The seats and door panels are original, the carpet was replaced. The Tiger gold paint was re applied and the original paint can be seen under the deck lid and door jams. On August 21, 2015 the replacement motor was rebuilt by TC Performance in Traverse city Michigan with the following goal in mind, “Detail engine to stock factory appearance, update the ignition, install the dealer option tri-power carb set up, ram air pan and seal, build and tune for 477 HP and 505 Ft. Lbs. some of the motor upgrades include, Edlebrock performance aluminum heads, comp cam, roller rockers, Ceramic Coated Ram Air Large port exhaust manifolds, downflow copper radiator. It has a new quick ratio steering box, new a arms, new clutch, we have thousands of dollars in receipts. We have the complete history ordered for PHS automotive services. This is a real 237 car, we have a copy of the window sticker from PHS. The seats and door panels are original, the carpet and soft top were replaced when the works was done. the tiger gold paint is the factory color with one respray since new. the paint is base coat clear coat better quality than it was new in 1965. The paint is an upper driver quality paint not autorama show quality.
