COOL RANCHERO! 302 V8, AUTO, A/C, PB W/ FRONT DISC, GREAT STANCE, SHARP INSIDE & OUT!
A 1966 Ford Ranchero is a rare find, and finding one in this condition is even rarer. The Ranchero was restyled for 1966 and would be the last year the Ranchero would have Falcon style front sheet metal. In 1967 Ford styled the cars to look more like a Fairlane, making the 1966 model unique and sought-after by collectors today. This sharp-looking Ranchero in finished handsomely in Wheatland Yellow with white hood stripes that showcase a custom installed non-functional hood scoop. Additionally, this classic has been enhanced with upgraded tri-bar headlights, dark tinted glass and a quality Craftec hatch-style tonneau cover with no snaps that lifts up to reveal a beautiful custom-made oakwood bed floor cover that looks amazing. A set of polished American Racing wheels with tires staggered 225/40ZR18 front and 285/30ZR20 rear give this classic Ford a great looking stance.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• 302 V8 engine
• C4 automatic transmission
• 9-inch rear end with traction bars
• Front power disc brakes
• American Racing wheels
• Edelbrock intake manifold
• Holley carburetor
• Lokar shifter
• Air conditioning
• Tilt steering column
The black interior features a comfortable bench seat, Lokar shifter, custom chrome tilt steering column, custom steering wheel, air conditioning, Ford logo floor mats, Equus Pro Tach and Bosch temperature, oil pressure and volt gauges to monitor engine functions. Music for cruising is provided by a Kenwood Excelon AM/FM/CD radio with AUX and Bluetooth that plays through kick panel mounted speakers with an Amp and subwoofer located behind the seat.
Under the hood is a healthy 302 cubic inch engine mated to a C4 automatic transmission that sends power back to a 9-inch Ford rear end with traction bars. The engine looks as great as it runs, with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold topped with a Holley carburetor, Edelbrock finned aluminum valve covers with matching air cleaner, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator with electric fans and power brakes with front discs. A set of long-tube headers rumble back through gas pack style mufflers that exit just before the rear wheels on both sides.
