5.7L LS1 V8, 6 SPEED MANUAL, SLP PARTS, OVER 15K RECEIPTS, T-TOPS, LEATHER, VERY CLEAN, MUST SEE!
While it has been more than two decades since the last fourth-generation Camaro rolled off the assembly line, Chevy's turn-of-the-century muscle car continues to impress today. Take this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 decked out in its original Pewter Metallic, sporting a trick SLP center-mount exhaust system to complement its signature T-top roof and sleek wedge shape. With 94,290 miles on the odometer, and plenty of maintenance records to accompany it, this car has plenty of fun-in-the-sun life left for its next lucky owner.
Inside, the black leather interior is almost completely original except for a reupholstered driver's seat and an aftermarket shift knob. An AM/FM/CD player, air conditioning, cruise control, along with power windows, locks, mirrors, and a power driver's seat, all add plenty of modern convenience and comfort to this high-performance pony car.
Under the hood, we find the nearly bulletproof aluminum block and heads 5.7-liter LS1 V-8. With its composite intake and individual coil packs, this small block pumped out 310 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque when new, this car is also the recipient of an SLP cold air intake which deletes the annoying factory air silencers to allow this engine to roar without a muzzle on. Power is routed through a traditional Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission before being sent to a 3.42:1 geared ten-bolt rear. A MagnaFlow muffler adds the perfect exhaust note to allow this muscle car to flex with just a blip of the throttle.
