GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. For sale is a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible featuring a powerful 351 V8 engine, paired with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission. This classic Mustang is equipped with power brakes and power steering, making it a pleasure to drive. Additionally, it comes with air conditioning, though the A/C is currently not functional. The exterior paint, while showing some age and wear, remains solid overall, providing a great foundation for anyone looking to restore this iconic American muscle car. A fantastic project vehicle with great potential!
When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must have among the American public. The 1971-1973 Mustangs offered more space and comfort than previous models, following the industry trend of personal luxury coupes. The cars were much larger, with wider tracks and wheelbase and were some of the largest Mustangs ever built.
