Sweet 1970 Camaro Rally Sport, 383 Stroker SBC V8, PS, PB, A/C, Muncie 4-Speed
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the classic and muscle car business. Americans have had a love affair with Chevrolet's Camaro since it went on sale on Sept. 29, 1966 to compete with Ford's wildly successful Mustang. Those first generation cars (1967-1969) became legendary when Roger Penske and Mark Donohue's Camaros won the SCCA Trans-Am series in 1968 and 1969, and they've been in demand ever since. But the early, chrome-bumper 2nd generation cars (1970-1973) proudly illustrate what is without question one of the cleanest designs to ever come from Detroit. This beautiful Forest Green 1970 Camaro Rally Sport is a fine example of these exquisitely styled pony cars. Lift the steel scooped hood and you'll see a honed and balanced 383 stroker SBC assembled by Owens Racing Engines that's sporting an Eagle crankshaft and rods, SRP forged pistons, Dart Pro 1 aluminum cylinder heads, a COMP Cams camshaft, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake manifold, long tube headers, DUI distributor, and an aluminum radiator. Additional features include power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with classic Hurst shifter, bucket seats with console, AutoMeter gauges, front and rear spoilers, a JVC audio system, and beefy tires (245/45ZR17 F, 295/40ZR18 R) wrapped around American Racing alloy wheels. This handsome muscle machine has just the right aggressive look and the performance to back it up. This is a particularly nice, if older, build and I particularly enjoy the battery box and fire extinguisher with matching paint schemes! If this emerald gem belongs in your garage, call the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic Camaros and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
