2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition
This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a Heritage Edition with only 686 miles. Finished in Brittany Blue Metallic with painted Wimbledon White stripes over Ebony leather. Factory optioned with the Handling and Technology Packages, and it has been modified with aftermarket red chassis jacking rails in addition to a Ford Performance carbon-fiber hood vent and Anderson Composites rear spoiler. Aftermarket front bumper scrape guard and front splash guards were also installed.
The supercharged 5.2-liter Predator V8 features an air-to-liquid intercooler, an engine oil cooler, and a cast aluminum intake manifold. Factory-rated output was 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gearing. The car features an active dual exhaust system with quadruple polished outlets.
Black 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels feature aftermarket center caps and are mounted with 305/30 front and 315/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension utilizing a MagneRide damping system. Stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers fitted over two-piece ventilated rotors. The Handling Package added adjustable strut top mounts.
The Alcantara- and leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features a gray centering stripe and paddle shifters and frames a configurable 12″ LCD instrument panel. Analog oil pressure and oil temperature gauges are mounted in the center stack. The heated and cooled power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Ebony leather with Dove accents. The Technology Package added a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, voice-activated navigation, and BLIS blind-spot monitoring, and the cabin is also appointed with SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8″ touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and Ford Track Apps. A SpeedForm dead pedal cover, Lloyd floor mats, Shelby-branded cup holder coasters, and a black vinyl sun visor warning label cover accompany the car.
The passenger-side dashboard plaque identifies this GT500 as chassis N3501. Manufacturer's literature, window sticker, a car cover, and removed parts are also included in the sale. Ceramic coating has been applied to protect the exterior. This is a limited-edition sports car that combines classic design elements with modern technology and performance.
