1970 Plymouth Barracuda For Sale
The Plymouth Barracuda is a two door pony car that was produced from 1964 to 1974. The first generation of the Barracuda was based on the Chrysler A-Body. These cars shared a great majority of their parts with the Plymouth Valiant. The second generation Barracuda was completely redesigned. These cars were built from 1967 to 1969. They came in three different versions, fastback, hardtop and convertible. The third generation is the most popular of this model. They were offered from 1970 to 1974. These are known as the E-Body Mopars. It had a completely new design and were slightly bigger than the Dodge Challenger. The third generation of the Plymouth Barracuda had a variety of engine options; from a six cylinder all the way up to the Elephant 426 Hemi.
1970 Plymouth Barracuda. This Barracuda has just come out of long term ownership. The engine in this vehicle is a 318 V8 and comes with an automatic transmission. We did get the engine to start off of pouring some gas into the carburetor. Comes with a slap stick shifter and a center console. The fender tag is still on the vehicle. Comes with power steering and air conditioning. Has manual four wheel drum brakes. Manual windows. Currently has a Cuda hood installed on the vehicle.
The interior of the vehicle is pretty much complete other than the passenger side rear panel. The interior will require a restoration. Comes with its original bucket seats. Has an aftermarket stereo, tachometer and steering wheel. This vehicle does have some rust. The biggest area is the trunk pan, which will need to be replaced. Originally it came with a vinyl top. The material has been removed, but the trim is still all there. We do have the original broadcast sheet to this vehicle. Comes with a clean California title and is on non op. Great candidate for restoration.
