Frame Up Restored Coronet 500 440 Magnum V8 4 Speed Bucket Seats Console
If you're looking for a unique Mopar that's as fun to drive as it is to show, give this 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 a closer look. Thanks to a frame up restoration, this Dodge wears a stunning coat of Glasurit's Sunfire Yellow over an arrow straight body with show quality trim all around. Under the hood, the original 361 V8 has been replaced by a 440 Magnum. The bay retains a mostly stock appearance but features an Edelbrock CH4B aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock Performer 4-barrel carburetor and black Mopar Performance cast aluminum valve covers. The setup breathes through factory cast iron exhaust manifolds connected to a 3" true dual exhaust system with Dynomax turbo mufflers. Behind that 440 is an A833 4-speed manual transmission that makes this B-body a blast to drive. An 8 3/4 rear end sends power to the pavement. Ride control comes courtesy of a stock torsion bar/leaf spring setup restored with amazing detail. Braking has also been left stock with manual brakes utilizing a front disc/rear drum setup. The car rides on Magnum 500 wheels with 205/75's up front and 235/75's out back. The white interior looks amazing against the Sunfire Yellow paint and shows just as well as the outside. The dash features Stewart Warner voltage and oil temperature gauges for some extra functionality. A modern stereo is housed in the glove compartment while the factory sliders control the Classic Car Air air conditioning system. If you've always wanted a big block B-body, you won't find a better example for the price!
