2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible Supercharged
Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 convertible for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The ZL1 Camaro launched in 2012 and represents the top rung on the Camaro performance hierarchy. Costing roughly $20,000 more than a Camaro SS, the ZL1 is a serious performance car. For the money, it comes with an extra 154-hp over a Camaro SS from its 6.2L supercharged V8 good for 580 horses.
This ZL1 is finished in Black paint over black upholstery. The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather with microsuede inserts and are accented by red stitching. Additional amenities include a leather-wrapped shift knob, a color head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Boston Premium Audio sound system, and MyLink infotainment with navigation. A microsuede-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a central display. A quartet of auxiliary gauges are mounted ahead of the shifter.
Exterior details unique to the ZL1 model include a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a hood-mounted air extractor. This example is reported to be one of 303 manual transmission-equipped convertibles finished in Black, and it features a black soft top. ZL1 wheels are mounted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have date codes 04/22 (front) and 07/22 (rear). Each wheel is shown up close in the gallery along with the vented brake rotors and gloss black-finished Brembo calipers. The car is also equipped with Magnetic Ride Control.
The 6.2-liter LSA V8 is equipped with an Eaton supercharger and an intercooler and was factory-rated at 580 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 556 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The suspension has also been beefed up to deal with the extra horsepower and many of the body panels have been modified to give the car a much meaner look on the street. Sold only as a coupe in 2012, the ZL1 is now available as a convertible as well.
