GR Auto Gallery of Indy is pleased to offer this beautiful 1973 Dodge Challenger for your consideration. This stunning muscle car is a oner owner car. The paint scheme is a design of his own. He chose the factory Bright Red for the base color. On top of that, silver and black stripes were laid out. On top of it all is a brand new black vinyl top. The paint was shot in 2008 and still looks flawless. The interior is a clean and crisp factory black. A fire extinguisher, Autometer tach and an aftermarket radio were added. But under the hood is where the real magic happens. The original 340 was a High Performance 4 Barrel engine but that wasn't enough. he added a ton of chrome and polished aluminum, along trick parts to make a serious street machine. A polished Edelbrock tunnel ram supports 2 Holley 450's carbs with chrome bowls, and progressive linkage, a polished Street Scope pokes out of the hood to breathe in all the fresh air. Moving to the cylinder heads, these to are Polished Edelbrock Performer RPM's to be exact. Chrome Direct Connection valve covers seal everything up. A Comp Cams Thumper hydraulic roller hides inside the 340. A Milidon Gear Drive keeps everything in time. The rest of the engine bay is covered with chrome goodies. The Suspension has plenty of upgrades as well, such as; Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes, chrome master cylinder, new Hotchkis torsion bars, Hotchkis rear springs, chrome driveshaft, chrome hood hinges, and many more items as you can see in the pictures. The 1972 grille and tail-light arrangement were carried over for the 1973 (and 1974) model years, and the mandatory 5 mph bumpers were added. While the 225 cu in (3.7 L) six-cylinder engine was dropped, (leaving just the two V8s), all option lists otherwise were carry-overs from 1972.
